TM 9-2320-364-10      3-17 Table 3-1.  Troubleshooting - CONT. Malfunction Test or Inspection Corrective Action STEERING (CONT). 1. TRUCK IS HARD TO STEER, SHIMMIES, WANDERS OR PULLS TO ONE SIDE (CONT). Step 3.    Remove wheel covers (Para 3-5), and check wheels for loose, missing or broken nuts. Tighten loose nuts and notify Unit Maintenance to have nuts tightened to torque requirements. Step 4.    If no damage is found and problem persists, notify Unit Maintenance. 2. TRUCK STEERING SLOW TO RESPOND OR INTERMITTENT. Step 1.    Check steering hydraulic reservoir (1) fluid level. If fluid level is low, notify Unit Maintenance. Step 2.    Check for loose or leaking steering hydraulic connections and damaged steering hydraulic lines. Tighten loose connections.  If leak does not stop, notify Unit Maintenance. If lines are damaged, notify Unit Maintenance. If problem persists, notify Unit Maintenance.
