TM 9-2320-364-10      3-29 Table 3-1.  Troubleshooting - CONT. Malfunction Test or Inspection Corrective Action MATERIAL HANDLING CRANE (MHC) (CONT). 1. MHC WILL NOT OPERATE (CONT). NOTE If high idle or remote control operates, the crane overload protection is operating when the main hydraulic pressure override is turned CCW and pulled out. Step 8.    Turn MHC Main Hydraulic Pressure Manual Override (5) CCW and pull out.  Check that outrigger can be lowered to maintain full contact with ground. If outrigger jacks can not be lowered, go to Step (10). If outrigger jacks can be lowered, go to Step (9). Step 9.    Try to manually operate other MHC controls on main control valve bank. If all functions operate, leave MHC Main Hydraulic Pressure Manual Override (5) out and complete MHC operation.  Notify Unit Maintenance upon completion of mission. If functions do not operate, go to Step 10.
