TM 9-2320-364-20-2      2-1801 Wear safety goggles when performing leakage tests on valves.  Failure to do so may result in serious eye injury due to high pressure air. If air lines are under high pressure when they are disconnected, they can whip around and cause injury to personnel.  Caution should be exercised when loosening or disconnecting air line fittings. (1)   Disconnect air line 2661 from front double check valve (middle). (2)   Connect 0-160 psi (0-1103 kPa) gage to valve. (3)   Push TRAILER AIR SUPPLY control (TM 9-2320-364-10). (a)   If there are not 125 4 psi (861 28 kPa) present at front double check valve (middle), perform Steps (6) and (7) below and replace valve (Para 12-11). (b)   If there are 125 4 psi (861 28 kPa) present at front double check valve (middle), perform Steps (4) and (5) below. (4)   Pull TRAILER AIR SUPPLY control. (5)   Have assistant apply hand brake. (a)   If there are not 125 4 psi (861 28 kPa) present at front double check valve (middle), perform Step (6) below and replace valve (Para 12-11). (b)   If there are 125 4 psi (861 28 kPa) present at front double check valve (middle), valve is OK. Perform Steps (6) and (7) below. (6)   Release hand brake. (7)   Remove gage and connect air line 2661 to front double check valve (middle). FRONT DOUBLE CHECK VALVE (MIDDLE) TEST
