TM 9-2320-364-20-2 2-1860 14.  SERVICE BRAKES ON AXLES NO. 1 AND NO. 2 DO NOT APPLY (CONT). 2. Are air lines 2488 and 2536 free from crimps and/or leaks and are fittings, valves and air chambers free of leaks? Replace air lines or fittings, and/or tighten/replace valve, air chamber (Para 12-36, 12-9, 12-10, 12-13 and see schematic Fig 2-44). Verify repair, go to Step 7 of this Fault. YES NO Brakes on Axles No. 1 and   No. 2 fail to apply. Air lines crimped or leaking   and/or fittings, valves or   air chambers leaking. Brake treadle valve faulty. Service relay valve No. 1   faulty. Air chambers faulty. Brakes faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Visual inspection. Audible inspection. If air lines and/or fittings, valves or air chambers are leaking, loss of air pressure will prevent brakes from applying. WARNING 3. Does brake treadle valve operate correctly? Replace brake treadle valve (Para 12-4). Verify repair, go to Step 7 of this Fault. YES NO Brakes on Axles No. 1 and   No. 2 fail to operate. Air lines free of crimps or leaks   and fittings, valves and air   chambers free of leaks. Brake treadle valve faulty. Service relay valve No. 1   faulty. Air chambers faulty. Brakes faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Brake treadle valve test. If brake treadle valve does not operate correctly, service brakes on Axles No. 1 and No. 2 will not apply.
