TM 9-2320-364-20-2 2-1076 1.  ENGINE OVERHEATS (WATER TEMP GAGE CONTINUOUSLY READS OVER 230F (110C) (CONT)). Coolant hoses and clamps OK. Radiator cooling fins OK. Fan operates at low speed. Fan operates at high speed. Thermostat(s) faulty. Water temperature gage faulty. Cooling assembly faulty. Water temperature switch faulty. Water temperature sensor   faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Fan operation/temp test. If temperature does not lower with fan at high speed, cooling system is faulty. YES NO Go to Step 10 of this Fault. 5. Does engine temperature rise over 230F (110C) with harness connector MC59 disconnected and fan operating at high speed? Go to Step 6 of this Fault. 4. Fault not corrected. Notify DS Maintenance. YES NO Coolant hoses and clamps OK. Radiator cooling fins OK. Fan operates at low speed. Fan does not operate at high   speed. Thermostat(s) faulty. Water temperature gage faulty. Cooling assembly faulty. Water temperature switch faulty. Water temperature sensor   faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Fan test. If fan does not operate at high speed with connector MC59 disconnected, hydraulic components are faulty. Does fan operate at high speed with harness connector MC59 removed from EPAC?
