TM 9-2320-364-20-2 2-1388 26.  REAR BLACKOUT CLEARANCE OR TAILLIGHT DOES NOT OPERATE (CONT). Regular stoplights operate   indicating wire 1435 to rear   composite light OK. Blackout clearance lights   operate indicating 10 to 14 vdc   to wire 1680. Wire 1680/24 faulty. Rear composite light faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Voltage test. STE/ICE-R #89. If 10 to 14 vdc are not measured, blackout taillight lamp will not operate. YES NO Repair wire 1680/24 (see schematic Fig 2-35) or notify DS Maintenance.   Verify repair, go to Step 9 of this Fault. 8. Are 10 to 14 vdc measured on wire 1680/24 to faulty black- out taillight rear composite light? Replace rear composite light (Para 7-47). Verify repair, go to Step 9 of this Fault. WARNING 10 to 14 vdc present to blackout   clearance and taillight socket   center contact. Ground present on blackout   clearance and taillight socket   outer contact. Blackout clearance and taillight   lamp OK. Rear clearance light and   composite light OK. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Verify repair. If blackout clearance and taillights operates, fault has been corrected. YES NO Fault not corrected. Notify DS Maintenance. 9. Do all rear blackout clearance and taillights operate? Fault corrected.
