TM 9-2320-364-20-2 2-1596 49.  HEATER DOES NOT OPERATE OR WILL NOT CHANGE SPEEDS (CONT). Cooling fan operation normal   indicating 24 vdc supplied to   EPAC from CB15. Fan and heater operates at one   speed. FAN control switch OK. Heater wire harness OK. Heater resistor OK. Wire 1082 OK. Rectifier M81 OK. Wire 1082 OK. Orange wire OK. Heater motor ground faulty. Heater motor faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Continuity test. STE/ICE-R #91. If heater motor is not grounded, heater will not operate. YES NO Repair or replace motor ground wire (Para 19-13).   Verify repair, go to Step 10 of this Fault. 9. Is continuity measured between casing of heater motor and known good ground? Replace heater motor (Para 19-13).   Verify repair, go to Step 10 of this Fault. 8. Repair or replace orange wire (see schematic Fig 2-42).   Verify repair, go to Step 10 of this Fault. YES NO Cooling fan operation normal   indicating 24 vdc supplied to   EPAC from CB15. Fan and heater operates at one   speed. FAN control switch OK. Heater wire harness OK. Heater resistor OK. Wire 1082 OK. Rectifier M81 OK. Wire 1082 OK. Orange wire faulty. Heater ground faulty. Heater motor faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Voltage test. STE/ICE-R #89. If 22 to 28 vdc are not measured, wire harness is faulty. WARNING WARNING Is 22 to 28 vdc measured on orange wire at splice of heater motor harness?
