INITIAL SETUP 1. Replace or adjust alternator belts (Para 7-4).  Verify repair, go to Step 14 of this Fault. START NO YES Both voltmeters indicate low   charge. Batteries OK. Fuel pump operates indicating   24 vdc present at DUVAC   controller IGN terminal. Alternator belts loose or missing. DUVAC controller faulty. Wire 1278 between alternator   positive (+) terminal and   DUVAC (A) terminal faulty. Wire 1275 from alternator   negative (–) terminal to   battery negative faulty. Jumperwire from alternator field   coil negative terminal to   alternator negative (–)   terminal faulty. Alternator faulty. Wire 1344 between alternator   and regulator faulty. Wire 1274 between DUVAC   controller and batteries faulty. Brown wire between DUVAC   controller and regulator faulty. Wire 1435 between DUVAC   controller and ground faulty. Black wire between regulator   and ground faulty. Red wire between DUVAC   controller and regulator faulty. Orange wire between DUVAC   controller and regulator faulty. Regulator faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Visual inspection. If alternator belts are loose or missing, alternator will not charge. 2-20.  ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TROUBLESHOOTING (CONT).
