Fuel pump operates indicating   24 vdc present at DUVAC   controller IGN terminal. Alternator belts OK. DUVAC controller OK. Wire 1278 OK. Jumperwire OK. Alternator OK. Wire 1344 OK. Wire 1274 OK. Brown wire OK. Wire 1435 OK. Black wire OK. Red wire between regulator and   DUVAC controller faulty. Orange wire between regulator   and DUVAC controller faulty. Regulator faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Voltage test. STE/ICE-R #89. If 10-14 vdc are not measured on the red wire, then input voltage for generating field voltage is not being supplied to the regulator and alternator will not charge.
