TM 9-2320-364-20-2      2-1649 (1)   Remove fire extinguisher (TM 9-2320-364-10). (2)   Remove 22 screws, lockwashers, washers and cab engine access panel from cab.  Discard lockwashers. (3)   Inspect that belts are installed and are in good condition. (a)   If belts are not installed or are not in good condition, install new belts (Para 7-5). (b)   If belts are installed and are in good condition, perform Step (4) below. (4)   Install belt tension gage on each belt.  Belt tension gage must read between 60 to 65 lbs (260-289 N). (a)   If belt tension gage does not measure between 60 to 65 lbs (260-289 N), adjust alternator belts (Para 7-5). (b)   If belt tension gage does measure between 60 to 65 lbs (260-289 N), go to Step 2 of this Fault. VISUAL INSPECTION BELT TENSION GAGE BELTS
