Is there continuity on green jumper wire
between its ends where it is connected to
HIGH IDLE switch?
(1) If there is no continuity, repair wire
(see schematic Fig 2-58).
(2) If there is continuity, go to Step 10
of this Fault.
CONTINUITY TEST
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry or tools contact positive electrical
circuits, a direct short may result. Damage to equipment, injury or death to personnel may occur.
Leave all wires connected to switches.
