TM 9-2320-364-20-4 2-3186 5.  HOOK ARM EXTENDS TOO FAR IN CHU MODE (AUTO) (CONT). KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION NO 6. WARNING Read   WARNING on Page 2-3187 Continuity test. Relay R52 controls the hook arm extend function in AUTO mode. The power supply to relay R52 is from wire 1465. Relay will not function if there is an open in wire 1465. YES Is continuity present between wire 1465 at connector MC82A, terminal A and relay R52, terminal 86? CHU jumper wire harness OK. LHS operates in MAN HA   position. LHS operates in MAN MF   position. Proximity switch properly   adjusted. LED of proximity switch   illuminates. Wire 1466B of wire harness OK. Wire 1466B OK. Proximity switch OK. Wire 1465 is faulty. Wire 1435 is faulty. Wire 1495 is faulty. Wire 1496 is faulty. Relay R52 faulty. Relay R51 faulty. Wire 1474 of wire harness is   faulty. Wire 1474 is faulty. Wire 1472 is faulty. Wire 1435 of wire harness is   faulty. Wire 1435 is faulty. Repair wire 1465 (see schematic Fig 2-79) or notify DS Maintenance.  Verify repair, go to Step 17 of this Fault.
