NOTE All six steering stop bolts are removed and installed the same way.  Axle No. 5 is shown. a. Removal. (1) Loosen jamnut (1) on steering stop bolt (2). (2) Remove steering stop bolt (2) from axle (3). b. Installation. (1) Position steering stop bolt (2) and jamnut (1) on axle (3). (2) Hold jamnut (1) while tightening steering stop bolt (2) until steering stop bolt (2) is fully seated against axle (3).
