TM 9-2320-364-20-5 21-212 21-42.  CONTAINER HANDLING UNIT (CHU) AIR VALVE REPLACEMENT (CONT). Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds can burn easily, can give off harmful vapors, and are harmful to skin and clothing. To avoid injury or death, keep away from open fire and use in a well-ventilated area. If adhesive, solvent, or sealing compound gets on skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap and water. (2) Apply sealing compound to threads of three elbows (11) and two breather vents (12). (3) Install three elbows (11) and two breather vents (12) on air valve (4). NOTE Air line 2502, 2504 and 2505 are to left air valve. Install air lines as noted prior to removal. (4) Install air line 2507 (10), air line 2506 (9) and air line 2503 (8) to three elbows (11). (5) Install air valve (4) and data plate (5) on front support assembly (7) with three screws (6), washers (3), lockwashers (2) and nuts (1). c. Follow-on Maintenance: Start engine, (TM 9-2320-364-10). Build air pressure to 125 psi (861 kPa). Shut OFF engine, (TM 9-2320-364-10). Check for air leaks. Check operation of rotary paddles, (TM 9-2320-364-10). Remove wheel chocks, (TM 9-2320-364-10). END OF TASK 11 10 9 8 12 4 11 11 4 3 5 2 1 6 7
