Turbocharger weighs 57 lbs (26
kg). Attach suitable lifting
device prior to installation to
prevent possible injury to
personnel.

Attach lifting device to turbocharger (4).
(6)
Install turbocharger (4) on engine (25) with
two lockwashers (24) and screws (23).
Tighten screws to 45 to 50 lb-ft (61 to 68
N.m).

Remove lifting device from turbocharger (4).
(8)
Align rubber sleeve (21) with
turbocharger (4) and air inlet housing (22)
and secure with two clamps (20).
(9)
Install four washers (7) and locknuts (6) on
studs (5). Tighten locknuts to 30 to 35 lb-ft
(41 to 47 N.m).
(10)
Fill turbocharger center housing (19) with
lubricating oil.
