Disassembly. Fuel is very flammable and can explode easily.  To avoid serious injury or death, keep fuel away from open fire and keep fire extinguisher within easy reach when working with fuel.  Do not work on fuel system when engine is hot.  Fuel can be ignited by hot engine. (1) Remove T-handle (1) and lid (2) from housing (3). (2) Remove and discard preformed packing (4) from T-handle (1). (3) Remove and discard gasket (5) from lid (2). (4) Remove and discard filter element (6) from housing (3).
