TM 9-2320-364-34-3      14-27 NOTE Perform Steps (6) through (9) only if removing left trailing beam. (6) Remove two locknuts (8) and washers (9) from stud of each fuel tank strap (10). Discard locknuts. (7) Separate two fuel tank straps (10) from fuel tank bracket (11). Main fuel tank weighs 50 to 700 lbs (23 to 318 kg) depending on the quantity of fuel inside. Support main fuel tank with suitable lifting device prior to removing mounting hardware to prevent possible injury to personnel. (8) Using a lifting device, lift right side of main fuel tank (12) upward approximately 3 in. (76 mm). (9) Position wooden block on right fuel tank bracket (11).  Lower right side of main fuel tank (12) onto the wooden block.
