23-11. TORQUE CONVERTER PUMP REPAIR (CONT).

Disassembly.
(1)
Bend remaining ten corners of six
lockstrips (1) away from ten screws (2).
(2)
Remove ten screws (2), six lockstrips (1)
and two bearing retainers (3) from torque
converter pump (4). Discard lockstrips.
(3)
Remove hub (5) from bottom of torque
converter pump (4).
(4)
Remove bearing (6) and outer race (7) from
hub (5).
(5)
Remove and discard two seal rings (8)
and (9) from hub (5).
(6)
Remove inner race (10) from torque
converter pump (4).
