Install groove gage in grooves on support
hub (1). Rotate gage 360 degrees around
support hub. If gage does not rotate freely,
replace support hub.

Lubricate all valve parts with hydraulic oil.

NOTE
Valve pin is installed until valve
pin is recessed to .030 in.
(0.762 mm) 0.010 in.
(0.254 mm).

Install lube valve spring (45), lube valve
(44) and lube valve pin (43) in torque
converter housing (1).
