20-8. RIGHT SIDE THERMOSTAT HOUSING REMOVAL.
a.
Removal.
NOTE
Remove cable ties as necessary.
(1)
Loosen two clamps (1) on hose (2).
(2)
Remove four screws (3), lockwashers (4),
clip (5), right thermostat cover (6) and
gasket (7) from right thermostat housing (8).
Discard lockwashers and gasket.
(3)
Remove hose (2) and two clamps (1) from
right thermostat cover (6) and water
pump (9).
(4)
Loosen screw (10) on right thermostat
housing (8).
(5)
Remove screws (11) and (12), two
lockwashers (13), right thermostat
housing (8) and gasket (14) from cylinder
head (15). Discard lockwashers and gasket.
(6)
Remove screw (10) from cylinder head (15).
