Discard preformed packing.

Bend down tine of lockwasher (53).

Position shaft (54) in soft jaw vise.

Remove nut (55) and lockwasher (53).
Discard nut and lockwasher.

Remove shaft (54) from vise.
(38)
Turn hub (52) over and remove gear (56).
