Adhesives, solvents and sealing compounds
can burn easily, can give off harmful vapors
and are harmful to skin and clothing. To
avoid injury or death, keep away from open
fire and use in a well- ventilated area. If
adhesive, solvent, or sealing compound gets
on skin or clothing, wash immediately with
soap and water.
Apply sealing compound to first two threads of rim spud (14).
Install grommet (16) and rim spud (14) in outer wheel (9) with nut (15).
Tighten nut to 175 to 200 lb-in (19.8 to 22.6 N.m).
Install valve stem (4), with new preformed packing (13) on rim spud
(14) with nut (12). Tighten nut to 70 to 80 lb-in (8 to 9 N.m).
Install valve core (5) into valve stem (4).
Install adapter (3) on valve stem (4).
If wheel studs are replaced, they must be torqued after 50 to 75 miles (80 to 120 km) of use.
Failure to comply may result in failure of wheel studs.
If damaged studs were removed, perform Step (6).
Ensure flat edge of stud head is positioned parallel to edge of inner wheel.
Install new studs (8) in inner wheel (10), until base of stud is solid
against back side of wheel (10).

With the aid of an assistant, position inner wheel (10) on
wooden block, with studs (8) up.
Ensure area on wheels where preformed
packing is installed is clean and free from
sharp edges. Failure to comply may result
in damage to equipment and air leaks.
Coat preformed packing (11) with tire lubricant.
Install preformed packing (11) on inner wheel (10).
