chambers on axle (1).

Refer to Para 4-35 and install brakes on
axle (1).

Installation.
Axle assembly weighs 1,565 lbs
(710 kg). Attach suitable lifting
device prior to installation to
prevent possible injury to
personnel.

Attach lifting device to axle (1).
(2)
Using lifting device and the aid of an
assistant, position axle (1) and support with
jackstands.
