5. Remove foam tape (13) from evaporator core housing (2) and evaporator core (14). Discard foam tape.
6. Remove two screws (15), lockwashers (16), washers (17), and evaporator core (14) from evaporator
core housing (2). Discard lockwashers.

7. Remove fitting (18) and preformed packing (19) from expansion valve (20). Discard preformed packing.
8. Remove fitting (21) and preformed packing (22) from expansion valve (20). Discard preformed packing.
