Crane Remote Control Unit Key Control or Indicator Function 1 SWING Control Lever Moves crane clockwise and counterclockwise. TELESCOPE and HOIST control levers should be operated at the same time or hook block will contact boom tip and cause damage. 2 TELESCOPE Control Lever Move TELESCOPE control lever to OUT position to extend the boom.  Move TELESCOPE control lever to IN position to retract the boom. 3 BOOM Control Lever Raises and lowers the boom. 4 HOIST Control Lever Reels in and pays out the cable. 5 REMOTE CONTROL UNIT ON/OFF/EMERGENCY STOP Switch Supplies and shuts off electrical power to the crane and controls truck engine speed from REMOTE CONTROL UNIT.  Also provides   crane EMERGENCY STOP/TRUCK IDLE CONDITION. 6 REMOTE Hookup Wire Outlet Allows cable hookup between the crane and remote.
