2-43. REMOVING AND INSTALLING LIFTING FRAME FROM PLS
TRUCK IN FLATRACK MODE (CONT).
NOTE
There are two strut and slider assemblies on PLS truck. Left side is
shown.

Remove lock pin (16) and pin (17) from short strut (20) and long strut (18).
(5)
Rotate slider arm (14) with handle out to separate short strut (20) and long
strut (18).
(6)
Position flip lock (15) up to hold slider arm (14) out.
(7)
Release slider arm (14).
