Park truck as follows:
(a)
Park the truck in sheltered area out of wind if possible. If no shelter is
available, park so truck does not face into wind.
(b)
Park the truck on high, dry ground if possible. If high, dry ground is
not available, spread out planks or brush to make raised and dry area
so the tires will not freeze in snow, water, ice or mud.
(c)
Park the truck on level ground so body does not twist.
(d)
Set the transfer case shift lever (7) to LO (Low).
(e)
Clean snow, ice and mud off the truck as soon as possible.
(f)
Clean mud, snow and ice from wheels, brakes, axles, universal joints,
mirrors, steering mechanism and radiator as soon as possible.
