2-57. EMERGENCY PROCEDURES (CONT).
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc. If
jewelry or tools contact positive electrical circuits a direct short
may result. Damage to equipment, injury or death to personnel
may occur.
Battery acid (electrolyte) is extremely harmful. Always wear
safety goggles and rubber gloves, and do not smoke when
performing maintenance on batteries. Injury will result if acid
contacts skin or eyes. Wear rubber apron to prevent clothing
from being damaged.
Ensure connectors and receptacles are free of dirt, sand and
debris.

Plug the NATO slave cable connectors (3) into slave receptacles (1) on
trucks (A and B).
