TM 9-2320-364-20-2      2-915 (1)   Disconnect transmission connector MC19 at transmission bulkhead connector. (2)   Connect breakout harness transmission end connector to transmission bulkhead connector. (3)   Set multimeter select switch to ohms. (4)   Read resistance between terminal C and terminal T of breakout harness connector. (a)   If 9 to 20 ohms resistance are not measured, wiring inside transmission and solenoid A is faulty.  Notify DS Maintenance. (b)   If 9 to 20 ohms resistance are measured, go to Step (5) below. (5)   Is there continuity between breakout harness connector, terminal C and a known good ground? (a)   If there is no continuity, wiring inside transmission and solenoid A is OK.  Go to Step 2 of this Fault. (b)   If there is continuity, wiring inside transmission and/or Solenoid A is faulty.  Notify DS Maintenance. CONTINUITY TEST Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc.  If jewelry or tools contact positive electrical circuits, a direct short may result.  Damage to equipment, injury or death to personnel may occur.
