(1) Read resistance between terminals D
and B at breakout harness.
(a) If 9 to 20 ohms are not present,
wiring inside transmission and/or
solenoid J is faulty. Notify DS
Maintenance.
(b) If 9 to 20 ohms are present, go to
Step (2) below.
(2) Is there continuity between breakout
harness, terminal D and a known
good ground?
(a) If there is no continuity, wiring
inside transmission or solenoid J
is OK. Go to Step 3 of this Fault.
(b) If there is continuity, wiring inside
transmission and/or solenoid J is
faulty. Notify DS Maintenance.
CONTINUITY TEST
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry or tools contact positive electrical
circuits, a direct short may result. Damage to equipment, injury or death to personnel may occur.
