(1) Remove eight screws, lockwashers,
washers and left side noise panel.
Discard lockwashers.
(2) Check engine oil filter and oil hoses
for leaks or damage.
(a) If hoses, fittings, or filter are loose,
leaking, or damaged, tighten
fittings or replace filter and/or
hoses (Para 3-6, 3-8 and/or 3-10).
(b) If hoses, fittings, and filter are not
loose, leaking or damaged, go to
Step 3 of this Fault.
VISUAL INSPECTION
Check engine rocker covers and gaskets
for leaks or damage.
(1) Secure loose rocker covers or
replace gaskets (Para 3-4
and/or 3-5).
(2) If rocker covers are not loose, go
to Step 4 of this Fault.
