Tighten or replace damaged oil hoses, and/or oil filter (Para 3-6, 3-8 and 3-10).  Verify repair, go to Step 7 of this Fault. YES NO Engine oil level OK. Engine oil filter or oil hoses   faulty. Rocker covers or gaskets faulty. Oil sending units faulty. Engine overheating. Air compressor faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Visual inspection. Leaking oil filter or oil hoses will cause excessive oil consumption. 3. Are engine rocker covers and gaskets free from leaks or damage? Replace damaged rocker covers and gaskets (Para 3-4 and/or 3-5). Verify repair, go to Step 7 of this Fault. YES NO Engine oil level is OK. Engine oil filter or oil hoses are   OK. Rocker covers or gaskets faulty. Oil sending units faulty. Engine overheating. Air compressor faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Visual inspection. Leaking engine rocker covers and gaskets will cause excessive oil consumption.
