TM 9-2320-364-20-2      2-1045 Fuel is very flammable and can explode easily.  To avoid serious injury or death, keep fuel away from open fire and keep fire extinguisher within easy reach when working with fuel.  Do not work on fuel system when engine is hot.  Fuel can be ignited by hot engine. (1)   Turn ON ENGINE switch (TM 9-2320-364-10). (2)   Check hoses for leaks or crimps. (a)   If leak or crimp is found, turn OFF ENGINE switch, and tighten fittings or replace hose (Para 4-12). (b)   If no leak or crimp is found, hoses are OK. (3)   Check fuel tank(s) for leaks. (a)   If leaks are found, turn OFF ENGINE switch and replace fuel tank(s) (Para 4-8 or Para 4-9). (b)   If no leaks or cracks are found, Fuel tanks are OK. (4)   Turn OFF ENGINE switch.
