TM 9-2320-364-20-2      2-1139 (1)   Connect positive (+) multimeter lead to wire 1020 on ENGINE switch at ignition terminal. (2)   Connect negative (–) multimeter lead to a known good ground. (3)   Turn ON ENGINE switch (TM 9-2320-364-10). (a)   If 22 to 28 vdc are not present, turn OFF ENGINE switch and replace switch (Para 7-32). (b)   If 22 to 28 vdc are present, go to Step (4) below. (4)   Turn OFF ENGINE switch. (5)   Connect positive (+) multimeter lead to wire 1640 on ENGINE switch at accessory terminal. (6)   Turn ON ENGINE switch. (a)   If 22 to 28 vdc are not present, turn OFF ENGINE switch and replace switch (Para 7-32). (b)   If 22 to 28 vdc are present, accessory circuit of ENGINE switch is OK. (7)   Turn OFF ENGINE switch. VOLTAGE TEST (1)   Turn ON ENGINE switch (TM 9-2320-364-10). (a)   If 12 and 24 vdc circuits do not operate, fault not corrected.   Perform Steps (2) and (3) below and notify DS Maintenance. (b)   If 12 and 24 vdc circuits operate, fault has been corrected. (2)   Turn OFF ENGINE switch. (3)   Close top engine access cover. VERIFY REPAIR Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc.  If jewelry or tools contact positive electrical circuits, a direct short may result.  Damage to equipment, injury or death to personnel may occur.
