(1) Set work light internal switch to on
position.
(2) Is continuity measured between work
light connector terminal A and end of
switch power wire?
(a) If there is no continuity, replace
work light internal switch
(Para 7-55).
(b) If there is continuity, work light
internal switch is OK.
(3) Set work light internal switch to off
position.
CONTINUITY TEST
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry or tools contact positive electrical
circuits, a direct short may result. Damage to equipment, injury or death to personnel may occur.
(1) Is continuity measured between work
light connector terminal B and lamp
end of internal ground wire?
(a) If there is no continuity, repair
work light internal ground wire
(see schematic Fig 2-27).
(b) If there is continuity, work light
internal ground wire is OK.
(2) Connect lamp wires.
(3) Install lamp in light.
(4) Install work light on bracket.
CONTINUITY TEST
Work light connector left hand side MC54 and
right hand side MC79.
