(1) Remove cable tie.
(2) Disconnect turn signal flasher
connector MC7.
(3) Connect positive (+) multimeter lead
to wire 1005A at harness connector
MC7, terminal E.
(4) Connect negative (–) multimeter lead
to a known good ground.
(5) Set multimeter select switch to volts
dc.
(6) While assistant applies brake pedal
(TM 9-2320-364-10), observe
multimeter.
(a) If 10 to 14 vdc are not present,
perform Steps (7) through (9)
below and go to Step 2 of this
Fault.
(b) If 10 to 14 vdc are present,
perform Steps (7) through (9)
below and replace turn signal
switch (Para 7-35).
(7) Release brake pedal.
(8) Connect connector MC7.
(9) Install cable tie.
VOLTAGE TEST
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry or tools contact positive electrical
circuits, a direct short may result. Damage to equipment, injury or death to personnel may occur.
