Repair wire 1680 (see schematic Fig 2-35) or notify DS Maintenance.   Verify repair, go to Step 9 of this Fault. YES NO Blackout taillights operate   indicating 10 to 14 vdc present   to wire 1680 junction. Front blackout clearance lights   operate indicating blackout   marker switch is OK. Wire 1680 between taillight   splice and clearance light   splice faulty. Blackout clearance light faulty. Blackout clearance light lamp   faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Visual inspection. Fault is common to both rear blackout clearance lights if both do not light. WARNING 3. Go to Step 5 of this Fault. YES NO Blackout taillights operate   indicating 10 to 14 vdc present   to wire 1680 junction. Blackout clearance light faulty. Blackout clearance light lamp   faulty. Wire 1680 between clearance   light splice and clearance light   faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Voltage test. STE/ICE-R #89. If 10 to 14 vdc are not measured, blackout clearance light will not operate. WARNING Does at least one blackout clearance light operate?
