(1) Set multimeter select switch to ohms.
(2) Is there continuity measured between
blackout marker switch, terminals 1
and 5?
(a) If continuity is not measured,
replace blackout marker light
switch (Para 7-27).
(b) If continuity is measured, repair
wire 1680 (see schematic
Fig 2-35) or notify DS
Maintenance.
(3) Install BLACKOUT MARKER
light switch.
(4) Install instrument panel and
sunshield with ten screws.
CONTINUITY TEST
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry or tools contact positive electrical
circuits, a direct short may result. Damage to equipment, injury or death to personnel may occur.
(1) Turn ON ENGINE switch
(TM 9-2320-364-10).
(a) If blackout tail, marker and
clearance lights operate, fault
has been corrected. Perform
Steps (2) through (4) below.
(b) If blackout tail, marker and
clearance lights do not operate,
fault not corrected. Perform
Steps (2) through (4) below and
notify DS Maintenance.
(2) Turn off BLACKOUT MARKER
lights switch.
(3) Turn off BLACKOUT LIGHTS selector
switch.
(4) Turn OFF ENGINE switch.
VERIFY REPAIR
