(1) Is there continuity between connector
MC5, terminal D and windshield wiper
switch, terminal 2?
(a) If there is no continuity, repair
wire 1916 (see schematic
Fig 2-37) or notify DS
Maintenance.
(b) If there is continuity, wire 1916
is OK.
(2) Connect windshield wiper switch
connector.
CONTINUITY TEST
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry or tools contact positive electrical
circuits, a direct short may result. Damage to equipment, injury or death to personnel may occur.
(1) Is there continuity between
windshield wiper motor connector
MC5, terminal A and a known good
ground?
(a) If there is no continuity,
repair wire 1435 ( see schematic
Fig 2-37) or notify DS
Maintenance.
(b) If there is continuity, replace
windshield wiper motor
(Para 19-4).
(2) Connect windshield wiper motor
connector MC5.
(3) Install instrument panel and
sunshield with ten screws.
(4) Install ECB covers and 15 screws.
