TM 9-2320-364-20-2 2-1512 39.  TRANS CHECK LIGHT WILL NOT GO OUT. INITIAL SETUP 1. Repair wire 1871 (see schematic Fig 2-41) or notify DS Maintenance. Verify repair, go to Step 6 of this Fault. START YES NO Engine oil pressure OK. Reverse light operates   indicating 10 to 14 vdc present   on wire 1871. All ATEC codes cleared. Wire 1871 faulty. ATEC oil pressure switch faulty. Wire 1517 faulty. CK TRANS relay R9 faulty. Wire 215 faulty. ATEC ECU faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Continuity test. STE/ICE-R #89. If wire 1871 is loose, faulty, or shorted to ground, TRANS CHECK light will not go out. 2-20.  ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TROUBLESHOOTING (CONT).
