(1) Remove instrument panel from truck
(Para 7-13).
(2) Set multimeter select switch to
ohms.
(3) Is continuity measured on wire 1276
between voltmeter (12V) and
buzzer?
(a) If there is no continuity, repair
wire 1276 (see schematic
Fig 2-28) or replace harness
(Para 7-14).
(b) If there is continuity, go to Step 2
of this fault.
CONTINUITY TEST
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry or tools contact positive electrical
circuits a direct short may result. Damage to equipment, injury or death to personnel may occur.
