Check transmission oil level (Para 8-3).
(1) If transmission oil level is low, turn
OFF ENGINE switch and add oil to
correct level (Para 8-3) and go to
Step 2 of this Fault.
(2) If transmission oil level is OK, turn
OFF ENGINE switch and go
to Step 4 of this Fault.
TRANSMISSION OIL LEVEL CHECK
A cold oil and hot oil check must be made. Oil
expands when hot. Overfilling transmission
when cold will cause transmission to overheat
when transmission warms up, causing damage
to transmission.
