TM 9-2320-364-20-2      2-867 (1)   Measure resistance between terminals A and B of magnetic speed sensor connector MC20. (a)   If resistance is not between 82 to 236 ohms, speed sensor is faulty.  Notify DS Maintenance. (b)   If resistance is in range, go to Step (2) below. (2)   Is there continuity between magnetic speed sensor connector MC20, terminal A and a known good ground? (a)   If there is continuity, notify DS Maintenance. (b)   If there is no continuity, go to Step (3) below. (3)   Is there continuity between magnetic speed sensor connector MC20, terminal B and a known good ground? (a)   If there is continuity, notify DS Maintenance. (b)   If there is no continuity, magnetic speed sensor is OK. (4)   Connect wire harness connector MC20. (5)   Install left rear skirt on underside of fender (Para 17-34). CONTINUITY TEST Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc.  If jewelry or tools contact positive electrical circuits, a direct short may result.  Damage to equipment, injury or death to personnel may occur. Circuit breakers CB5, CB6, CB12, CB20, CB22, CB23 and relays R3, R13 - R19, R26, R28, R32, R33 are always electrically hot and can cause severe injury to personnel.  Care must be exercised when working under the electrical circuit board cover. Speed sensor resistance will change with temperature of sensor.  Resistance values in ohms, range from 82 to 236. NOTE
