TM 9-2320-364-20-2 2-1720 3.  TRANSFER CASE WILL NOT LOCKUP (CONT). Air system pressure at   125 4 psi (862 28 kPa). Parking brake light operates,   indicating circuit breaker CB8   is OK. Wire 1435 OK. Transfer case lockup solenoid   valve faulty. Transfer case air chamber   line faulty. Wire 1534 faulty. Transfer case lockup switch   faulty. Wire 1883 faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Transfer case solenoid valve test. If transfer case locks up by manually overriding the transfer case lockup solenoid valve, valve is faulty. YES NO Go to Step 4 of this Fault. 3. Does transfer case lock up by turning the manual override screw on transfer case solenoid valve? Replace transfer case solenoid valve (Para 12-40). Verify repair, go to Step 7 of this Fault. 2. Is continuity measured on wire 1435 between connector M49 and a known good ground? Repair wire 1435 (see schematic Fig 2-42) or notify DS Maintenance. Verify repair, go to Step 7 of this Fault. YES NO Air system pressure at   125 4 psi (862 28 kPa). Parking brake light operates,   indicating circuit breaker CB8   is OK. Wire 1435 faulty. Transfer case lockup solenoid   valve faulty. Transfer case air chamber   line faulty. Wire 1534 faulty. Transfer case lockup switch   faulty. Wire 1883 faulty. KNOWN INFO POSSIBLE PROBLEMS TEST OPTIONS REASON FOR QUESTION Continuity test.
