Is there continuity on HIGH IDLE switch
terminals between green wire and red
wire?
(1) If there is no continuity, replace
HIGH IDLE switch (Para 7-36).
(2) If there is continuity, go to Step 19
of this Fault.
CONTINUITY TEST
Leave all wires connected to switches.
Terminals of switch are being tested,
not the wires.
Switch terminal with two green wires if
terminal is to be tested.
NOTE
Remove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry or tools contact positive electrical
circuits, a direct short may result. Damage to equipment, injury or death to personnel may occur.
