(1) Start engine (TM 9-2320-364-10).
(2) Drive truck with CTIS in
EMERGENCY and the transfer case
in LOW and observe steering
conditions.
(a) If differentials do not lockup, fault
not corrected. Turn OFF ENGINE
switch and notify DS
Maintenance.
(b) If differentials lockup, fault has
been corrected.
(3) Turn OFF ENGINE switch.
VERIFY REPAIR
NOTE
Steering will become more difficult with the
CTIS in EMERGENCY and the transfer case in
LOW if axles are locking up correctly.
