15-20. SELF-GUIDED COUPLER REPAIR.
a.
Removal.
Self-guided coupler weighs 100 lbs (45 kg). Attach suitable lifting device prior to removal to
prevent possible injury to personnel.
(1)
Attach lifting device to self-guided coupler (1).
(2)
Remove hose clamp (2) and boot (3) from self-guided coupler (1).
(3)
Remove cotter pin (4), nut (5) and washer (6) from self-guided coupler (1). Discard cotter pin.
(4)
Remove self-guided coupler (1) from sleeve (7).
