18-13. SELF-RECOVERY WINCH (SRW) FRONT TENSION GUIDE REPAIR.
a.
Removal.
Front tension guide weighs 60 lbs
(27 kg). Use an assistant to
prevent possible injury to
personnel.
(1)
With the aid of an assistant, remove four
locknuts (1) from screws (2) and (3).
Discard locknuts.
(2)
With the aid of an assistant, support front
tension guide (4).
(3)
With the aid of an assistant, remove
screws (2) and (3) and front tension guide
assembly (4) from frame (5).
