13-3. AXLE BRAKE DRUM REPLACEMENT (CONT).
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing
compounds can burn easily, can
give off harmful vapors, and are
harmful to skin and clothing. To
avoid injury or death, keep away
from open fire and use in well-
ventilated area. If adhesive,
solvent, or sealing compound
gets on skin or clothing, wash
immediately with soap and
water.
(2)
Coat threads of two fittings (1) with sealing
compound.
(3)
Install two fittings (1) in brake drum (2).

Follow-On Maintenance:
Uncage brakes, (TM 9-2320-364-10).
If installing new brake drum, adjust brakes, (Para 12-3).
Install wheel/tire assembly, (TM 9-2320-364-10).
Remove wheel chocks, (TM 9-2320-364-10).
