Removal.
NOTE
There are two pin bracket
assemblies. Both are
removed the same way.
Right side is shown.
Do not support slider arm
with flip lock.
(1)
With the aid of an assistant, remove quick
release pin (1) and pin (2) from short strut
(3) and long strut (4).
(2)
With the aid of an assistant, rotate slider arm
(5) toward front of truck.
Use care when removing springs.
Springs are under tension and can
act as projectiles when released
and could cause injury to
personnel.
(3)
Unhook spring (6) from wire (7).
